Body-Mind Centering® and Yoga

EMBODIED ANATOMY AND YOGA
with Amy Matthews & Roxlyn Moret

Starts in March 2014!

This program applies key principles of each of the body systems to the practice of yoga. In the courses, we explore asana through the direct experience of our own body systems, tissues and cells. Embodied Anatomy and Yoga (EAY) opens a door to the transformative aspects of yoga and takes asana beyond a formulaic, external approach and into the subtleties of yoga practice.

The courses on the body systems and asana practice may be taken individually in any order with no further commitment to the program.

PRE-REQUISITES:

The requirement for entry into these courses is a basic familiarity with yoga asana. No prior experience with Body-Mind Centering is necessary. To attend the final two courses (Integration and Professional Issues & Competency) you must first complete a minimum of any eight EAY body systems courses and the Asana Practice from a Body-Systems Perspective course.
