Jennifer Laun, LMT

Jennifer Laun is a licensed massage therapist who specializes in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and her own work - Gentle Heart Unwinding. Meditation came into Jennifer's life a short time before she began bodywork, and she feels that her meditation and spiritual practices are at the heart of her work. She has a private practice, Gentle Heart, in Woodstock, NY; and has been practicing healing bodywork for 6 years. She was valedictorian of her 1000 hour program for massage therapy from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, NY. She is a professional member of the AMTA and a nationally certified massage therapist. Jennifer also holds a B.S. in Environmental Science.

Craniosacral Therapy

Jennifer's love of CST lead her to study with many different cranial osteopaths, and at the Upledger Institute. She has been inspired deeply by the early generation and pioneers of cranial osteopathy. From these visionary healers she has learned that working from a place of deep listening with her ears, hands, and heart is vital to accessing the profound healing wisdom in the body. Her CST sessions are done with the client fully clothed and are 60 or 90 minutes long.

Gentle Heart Unwinding

Relax…unwind… let go… transform…change…heal…gently…with ease of heart. The gentle unwinding of the heart through the body is what this treatment is all about. Jennifer's definition of unwinding is easing into change while being held in a supportive, loving way. This is a treatment of deep healing for your whole self. It is a completely unique and individual experience in body awareness, and a gentle exploration of your Self through CST, myofascial unwinding, and therapeutic essential oils.

This treatment focuses on opening the spine (physically, energetically, and vibrationally) while creating space for the body's natural healing Intelligence to take over. By choosing your own essential oils you make each session a personal healing journey. Please come with an open mind because this is not a deep tissue massage, rolfing or reiki… although you may see some of the same benefits due to the holistic nature of this work. These sessions are 90 or 120 minutes long.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required for cancellations. If you cancel with less notice you will be charged for your session.

1 hour (approx. 55min) = $120
1 ½ hours (approx. 85 min) = $180

Gentle Heart Unwinding (includes fee for essential oils)

1 ½ hours (approx. 85 min) = $210
2 hours (approx. 115 min) = $280
